Toms Place Announces its 11th Annual Fall Warehouse Sale
At the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre October 11, 2004 (TORONTO): Toms Places is holding its famous Fall Warehouse Sale Wednesday November 3 to Sunday November 7, 2004 at the Miles Nadal JCC at Bloor and Spadina. For the 11th year, a portion of the sale proceeds will go directly to the newly re-modeled community centre. Bargain hunters will find deals of up to 90 percent off retail on top quality, brand name casual wear, womens business attire, and Toms specialty: mens classically tailored business suits, in lightweight, imported wool. The Fall Warehouse Sale gathers everything under one central roof, so Toronto shoppers can find everything they need to create a professional business image, including coordinating shirts, blouses, ties and belts. Our Kensington location stocks more suits per square inch than any other store but is still not large enough to house this gigantic event, says Toms Place owner and operator, Tom Mihalik. In fact, with many great suits priced at 3 for 1 and the thousands of apparel items we have to move, this years JCC sale is shaping up to be our busiest and best. This year, Toms sale takes place during grand opening week of the JCCs new health and fitness clubthe crowning touch of a massive renovation that the 50-year old building has undergone throughout 2003 and 2004. The new surroundings promise to boost Warehouse Sale attendance by shoppers keen to find a great deal and also sneak a peak at the brand new JCC facilities. The overwhelming success of these sales over the years has meant big money for the JCC. Mr. Mihalik has developed a reputation as a larger-than-life bargain-maker, and a passionate charitable supporter. His total donations to the centre now top half a million dollars, making him one of the leading donors, second only to the JCCs new namesake, Mr. Miles Nadal.
Since 1958, Toms Place has been Torontos premier shopping venue for top quality men and womens designer business attire at the lowest discount prices. Uniquely located at 190 Baldwin Street in the heart of Kensington Market, Toms Place features a wide selection of European and North American suits and business wear and a friendly staff of expert fashion consultants. The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre is a newly renovated community centre dedicated to serving the community, cultural, educational and recreational needs of downtown Toronto. Its programs and services are guided by Jewish values and are open to all members regardless of race, ethnic origin or religious affiliation.
